The institution focusses on providing a congenial atmosphere for the girl students to gain knowledge
& excell in all fields. It makes their stay a remarkable and memorable one by providing excellent facilities.
The spacious and well equipped physics, chemistry, Biology and computer Laboratories meet all the
requirements of the students during the practical sessions. The equipment & Computers are upgraded
regularly according to the requirement.
The Business lab is set up this year to meet all the requirements of commerce students & they are given
Practical training related to day to day activities. The medical centre is set up in the college with a
medical officer to cater the health needs of the students & Staff.
The NSS unit with NSS officer and 100 volunteers participate actively in community services.
The newly constructed college auditorium is spacious and is utilized to conduct cultural and
literary activities.
The Ladies room & Sports room help the students to utilise their leisure comfortable.
The Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Community candidates are supported by the Institution
by helping them to acquire scholorships from Government and other organisations. Meritorious students are recognised and encouraged
by the management and the staff. They are rewarded by cash/books prizes.
The college publishes its souvenir "MATHRU" every year wherin student and staff of the college are
encouraged to express their views and exhibit their talents through their articles.
Library
The college library is equipped with good collection of around 10,000 books & 50 periodicals for
the benifit of the students and the staff. The library is kept open from 9:30a.m to 4:30p.m. in all week
days and from 8-30a.m. to 1:30p.m.on Saturdays. The library has Circulation section, Periodical section
and reference sections; Stack & Reading rooms.
The staff and students of the college are eligible to borrow books from the library against borrower's
card issued to them. Borrowers card could be obtained from the librarian. Borrowers should handle
the books borrowed carefully.
